To check the offers made for designs by buyers, you can go to your inbox page go to the "My sales" field.
You will see the newest offers at the top of the list, including the time and status at the right.
Note: You can filter the offers by choosing a state above.

Click on an offer to view the details. This is an example of how an offer for a licensed design looks like. You can accept, make another offer or decline the offer. If you don't agree with the offer made by the buyer, you can make a different offer by clicking "Make another offer".
Then, you will see a form including essential information to make another offer.
The meanings of each License fee:
Flat fee: The buyer would pay a fixed amount for the design, regardless of the number of revisions or changes made to the design during the design process.
Royalty with Upfront Advance: The buyer pays an upfront advance to the designer for their work, which is typically a percentage of the estimated total royalty or sales that the design is expected to generate. The percentage of the royalty may vary depending on the agreement between the buyer and designer.
Royalty no Upfront Advance: The artist will receive a percentage of the sales or royalties generated from the use or sale of the design. The percentage of the royalty may vary depending on the agreement between the buyer and designer.
When you choose "Royalty with Upfront advance" or "Royalty no Upfront advance", there is drop down with more information (royalty %, estimated net product sales, estimated royalties, the advance amount you want to offer and payment terms). Click "Make offer" to send a new offer to the buyer.

This is our non-binding terms sheet, which establish a mutual understanding for your licensing agreement. Please note that these terms do not constitute legal advice and we strongly advise that you engage a qualified lawyer to prepare and finalize your license agreement.

Note: When a counter offer is made, the other person will have 14 days to response. After 14 days, if there is no activity, the counter offer will expire.
Same thing with a buyout design, click on an offer to view the details. This is an example of how an offer for a buyout design looks like. You can accept, make another offer or decline the offer. If you don't agree with the offer made by the buyer, you can make a different offer by clicking "Make another offer".
When clicking "Make another offer", a pop-up appears asking you to input a new price. Click the button down below to send a new offer to the buyer.

If you decline an offer , the buyer no longer can make any offer to that particular design. The buyer also can decline a counter offer from you, and you will not be able to proceed if they do so.
When the offer is accepted, you will see the "Offer accepted" status.
The process to complete the payment after the offer is accepted
Licensed designs
With the licensed design, the transaction is proceed between the buyer and designer, and Patternfield doesn't involve in this process. When an offer is accepted, we will send a licensing agreement terms to both parties so they can work together. 60 days after the terms are sent, a reminder will be sent to both sides asking is the transaction is complete.
Within 60 days, if there is no response from any party, the offer will be marked as "Auto complete" after 14 days. If one party claims that the transaction is complete while there is no reply from the other party, the offer will also be marked as "Auto complete" after 14 days.
If the other party requests more time, the time will be extended and a new reminder will be sent in 60 more days.
If the transaction is complete, the designer can go to Patternfield and request to complete the transaction.
If one parties doesn't want to continue the payment, they can go to Patternfield and request to end this transaction. After this, if there is no update from one of the parties, the transaction will be marked as "Fell through".
Buyout designs
When an offer is accepted, the buyer will have 14 days to complete the payment. After 14 days, if they you don't take any action, the offer will expire.
When the buyer paid the design, the order will be marked "Purchased". You have 7 days to deliver the file. If you don't send any file within 7 days, the order will automatically be cancelled. Add your design files in the field below.
Click "Deliver to buyer" to send the file.
