Buyer can choose to buy one of five preset license types for each design on Patternfield. Each license type will be an upfront payment so will be processed using the Buyout transaction process.
The inquire button will continue to work for custom license types.
Personal (Non-exclusive)
Our Personal License is for personal use only and not for use on end products for sale. This allows you to use the design for items that are non-commercial, personal social media accounts and any personal use that is not commercially related. The supplied downloadable file is a hi-resolution flat JPEG file.
Commercial (Non-exclusive)
Our Commercial License is for small brands and start-ups that require end products for sale up to 500 units. The supplied downloadable file is a hi-resolution editable layered Photoshop PSD or Illustrator Vector AI / EPS file. This allows you to use the design for physical products for sale across all product categories up to 500 units / items / meters.
Commercial Unlimited (Non-exclusive)
Our Commercial Unlimited License is for brands that require unlimited end products for sale. The supplied downloadable file is a hi-resolution editable layered Photoshop PSD or Illustrator Vector AI / EPS file. This allows you to use the design for physical products for sale in a single product category.
Commercial Unlimited (Exclusive)
Our Premium License is for brands that require exclusive design rights to a single product category. You get all the benefits of our Commercial Licenses plus you get exclusive rights to the design in that product category. This allows you to use the design for physical products in a single product category with no limit on the production run. The supplied downloadable file is a hi-resolution editable layered Photoshop PSD or Illustrator Vector AI / EPS file.
Buyout (Transfer of Copyright)
Our Buyout License is for brands that require copyright of the design. You get all the benefits of owning the design outright. Moral rights remain with the Designer. The artwork and its color ways are no longer available for purchase by any other party. The supplied downloadable file is a hi-resolution editable layered Photoshop PSD or Illustrator Vector AI / EPS file.
